WP 3.2.1 PHP version issue

    Hi i tried for automatic wp upgrade feature form 3.1 to 3.21, it that it require php 5, i have php 4 version. So what to do plz reply

    You simply won't be able to upgrade from your current version until your web host upgrades to php 5. If you're running Wordpress on your own server then it's not too tough to upgrade to php 5. Be careful with this though, sometimes upgrading php versions can cause things to break if the settings are done correctly.

    Move your hosting to others or don't upgrade.

    It should be easy to upgrade, contact your host and ask them to do it for you.

    Most hosting provider should be using PHP5 by now, if they don't want to upgrade to PHP5, switch to another host

    IMHO, you should change webhosts... If they are not willing to stay up to date with PHP versions, who knows what other corners they are willing to cut when with security!

    If you have cpanel, you can do this quite easily... Your new host may even do it for you...

    I have so many wordpress blogs installed on older version of PHP, Do i need to take any back up before upgrading to PHP 5 or will it work ?

    It will all most likely work without issue. If it doesn't you can downgrade. But Most things are moving to PHP5 these days so it's better to be on PHP5.
