Like, is a backlink from a page rank 2 twice as good as PR1. Would you rather have a backlink from a page rank 10. Or 100,000 backlinks from a page rank of 0. Can anyone help me with this. Thanks
Links need to be leverage, so high and low PR links are the best way. Concentrating only on high PR links is not a good idea.
Right! The links should be from both High PR and Low PR sites. However, the more are the links from High PR sites, the better is your website ranking. IMO links from PR 0 site might not help.

You are right Dheeraj. Always think about quality not quantity if your quantity is higher but your quality is not good then that is no meaning of that things. So always write quality and original contents.
i must say that the backlinks from high pr websites are the best backlinks ever you can get you must prefer quality over quantity and try to get as much links of such kind as much u can getÂ
get backlink from PR10 is difficult but if you try to get backling from PR 4 to PR 8 ....it will really give you a lot more than you expect..... you can find a lot of sites who have PR 4 to PR 8 ....

My answer to this is wouldn't be better if you get quality backlinks from quality sites than having tons of low quality backlinks? Don't concentrate on the quantity but focus more on the quality of links that you can generate to your site.
I've found high PR links are good if you want to boost your ranking in a short period of time but to keep your rankings consistent or you have to get backlinks naturally.
