Dear all, I have listen one terms in SEO about Cloaking, I don,t know about it practically, if any one know through practically please help me. Please describe me with detail example
*Cloaking generally means presenting a different version of a web page to human visitor and robots from search engine in order to rank well for desired keywords. *It's like this for example: human visitor search a product from search engine then he click the number one website that appears on page one, but the final website that he click is not the one describe in SERP before, it was a totally different ones. *these practice is manipulating the search engine for SERP and deceive user for traffic by directing them to sites other than the ones they selected before. *Example of other cloaking methods: - Cloaking type User Agent: delivers a different versions of a website based on User-Agent. Example: Users or search engine that using a different browser version is served with a different content from a web page. - Cloaking type HTTP Accept Language Header: shows a different version of website based on user browsers language and they will no be able to change the language from browsers option. - Cloaking type IP address Cloaking - shows a different content based on IP address. Example: one version of a web page with certain IP addresses will be shown on Search engines and the other version will be shown on all other IP addresses.
