If you have a new site or blog it can take a few weeks for the big G to find it and index it. By following the instructions below you can get indexed within 48 hours. Go to http://profitinstruments.com/quickindex/index.php Follow the instructions on the site (NOTE: I would close all other pages down on your broswer before doing this as it opens a lot of tabs) Once you have done that go to http://verifiedfile.com/seo/ Turn off your popup blocker and select "new browser", set maximum pop ups to 50 and max URL's to ALL. Click submit Wait 48 hours and search google for your site using the site prefix e.g site:yoursite.co.uk And hey Presto you should be in there. I have used this method plenty of times and have always been in Google within 24 hours. I got this tip from another big forum on the net and thought it would be rude not to share it with you guys
There are plenty of ways to promote your site, this is just a quick way of being indexed, and almost guarenteeing the search engines find your site.
I would say you just write an article on more prominent sites. Google will follow the links and should have you indexed fairly quickly... This may have changed after Panda, but you could certainly try social media sites in addition to articles.
