    Hi Guys,

1 month ago I set up a web site entitled sportspunters . com

It is going well and we already have over 280 members :)

However, I am not much of a forum expert, I am good at getting people to the site, but only via contacts etc... My web experience is average.

I have looked throught this forum and it seems there are lots of things I havent thought of, and 99% of them i dont have a clue how to do?

So perhaps you could all halp me? It could be a digital point experiment?

I appreciate this is just me asking you guys for help, but it would be much appreciated, as i have no cash left for this project. Things like getting onto Search engines, Making money from banners etc.... really need working on.

So if anyone fancies giving me a hand, or perhaps we could do it as a team project? then i would be very, very greatful.

    Thanks,

    Deano.

    Deano, have you visited www.aardvarksports.net?

Might be worth submitting your website to the directory and also particpating in the forum (don't advertise though!)

    Cheers Grunt.

Getting members to my site isnt a massive problem at the moment, in fact we are doing very well.
I am looking to make some money back to help pay for my hosting fees etc....

You could offer paid subscriptions for something "extra" some forums offering things like that (although we don't).

I'd go with Shawn's paid subscriptions idea a little later maybe, when you have reached a point where your visitors almost *need* your input.

Soon as it is a full time job just to monitor... then start charging.

That may not be a bad idea bling, but sometimes it could be very profitable before hand, especially with sports betting and things of that nature.

Ads with your current postings and linking system will do much of the publicity for you and also try to add an unique signature at the end of your emails regarding your new project. this will leave a good impression on the viewer and also appears a clean trick of trade which cannot be traced back. You can also pay some of your users to subscribe other new members to make your user list loaded.
