Looks like MSN index is taking a turn for the worse today. SERPS are all over the place. What were once decent results are now totally unrelated and spammy results.

I hope this is a temporary thing as I was starting to like the MSN serps much better than those of Yahoo and Google. For a moment I thought they were going in the right direction, I guess is still too early to tell.

this day, looks like i got banned from MSN, after i was getting a little amount of traffic and ranking 1st on a couple of keywords.
i don't know what this might be, but sure a loss and I'm mad about it.

specially that for this site when i started getting some traffic from google i thought of submitting a site when then VOILA no more traffic from google.
MSN was my last resort, and looks like it's gone

any info on the matter will be highly appreciated

MSN is very weird at the moment. They haven't updated a page I changed two weeks ago whereas Yahoo and Google have already updated.

Most of my sites ranking has been replaced by spam sites, mostly blogspot. Well, whatever...

Interesting. I'm holding steady at 20% of my search engine traffic from MSN. Not an insignificant number.

The only weird thing i noticed is that they took 2 weeks to indexed my new site where as google took 1 week, which is weird, usually msn takes 2 days.

    MSN Live...'the spammers engine'?

Just have to sit tight and see how things pan out. No evident effects on my sites yet

Could it be because of the niche of your site? One of the site I own is a greetings site.. It was getting lots of hits from MSN because of a few festivals last week. (more than 100 hits every day)

The site receives less than 10 hits from MSN now :p

One of my newly created websites (20 days old) is finally indexed (including inner pages, not only the index) today :)
I thought the domain is getting penalty for.. hot word in the domain name ;)

I'm again #1 for a dozen of words, so thats definitely good SERP change for me ;)

I noticed on one of my sites the number of backlinks dropped like a rock when they switched to live.com. The backlinks have slowly climbed back up. Maybe thats why your SERP has changed. Note that its been several weeks since the change so the question is did you just notice the change in the SERP results (ie fine last Friday now they are crap).
