Forums are usually used to discuss information and blogs are usually used to share information.

 

Forum posting is what you are doing currently , and in blog posting , you make a blog and write stuff there.

While forum is an place where anyone can post his idea about a topic. And the writer who post a new thread often wants to be helped or need suggestion. What's more, forum posts are usually shorter than blog posts.

Forum:- A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

Forums : noting but discussion sites
