How much traffic will get if I submit to 30000 directories

This is my question for who already has done and have experience about traffic. How much traffic will get if I submit to 30000 directories?

 

Directory links have largely been devalued by Google and unless you plan on driving more links towards your directory links, chances are you will see very little traffic.

I did an experiment and had over 25,000 links created in various directories. I think I may have gotten 1 or 2 visitors over the course of 3 months from those directories. Highly ineffective.

 

Depend on the quality of directory, it can be zero traffic
Directory doesnt bring much traffic

 

which directories you are talking about? If low quality one im sure you have waste your time.

 

there are a few directories that deliver traffic but in the quantity of 30k i must say that you might get rank up in search engines n get the organic traffic but directory directed visitors would be very few.

 

It all depends on wich directories and wich niche... but do not expect 100.000 of visitors per day

May be none at all! however if it includes directories like dmoz, yahoo, ipl etc...you might get quite significant traffic from there.

 

According to the standard of modern day web directories, I assume that directories are no more helpful in generating traffic. There are many reasons behind this but one most important reason is that this era is the era of social networking and social bookmarking. Now days people visit websites from social media links not the directory links. Use your common sense, who would use a directory today ? So I would suggest you not to waste your time in mass directory submission. Build some quality back links using social media and enjoy the targeted traffic. 

 

Instead of thinking of quantity better to think for quality work, directory submission is very old technology more over nowadays directory submission is not so effective....

 

I am also in the opinion that it depends on the directories where you submit it.

 

According to me its a waste of time... if you submit in High PR Directories than it will effect little bit in your traffic... but 30000 directory submission is really meaningless instead of this try another useful activity like article and press release submition... it will help to increase your traffic and forums and classified is also useful for good traffic....

Consequently, a search engine considers the websites more significant that has more links pointing at a website from external sources. So, Directory Submissions are good to do, to get the traffic to your website. But it takes time.

 

Directory submission may help increase your traffic. But like what I've said to others, the "quality" will spell your success. Don't just look at the numbers; be more vigilant on the quality aspects. Look for quality and credible online directories.

 

yes directory is one way of getting traffic for your site. But remember, it takes time. So you also need to do some link building techniques. 

 

Nowadays there are lesser people utilising directories, i think the proliferation of directories have saturated such area thus it would not give you much traffic, try other link building strategies instead.
