This is going to be an exciting design
contest for you.

A friend of mine is after a new logo for
his clothing company.

The logo must say "Rock Star Industries"

His shop sells the following brands of clothing.

He is looking for a strong, tough, edgy
style logo.

Logo must look good on either a black or
white background.

I'll leave the creativity and designs up

P.S Rock Star is 2 words, a skull or something between
the word Rock and Star would be nice. Also please place
Industries underneath Rock Star.

matt 0216 is on the right track!

Love the detailed skull in the middle but more edgier with the writing of the name.
Think more tattoo inspired type with the writing. Give me attitude people.

 

Logo may come up with any color which fits your requirements.

OK! you guys are doing a great job and i am getting a clearer idea on where we are heading.
This will be a lengthy thread but if you want the cash? read it all to stand a chance.

matt0216 has got the skull going in the direction we want. want the skull front facing and
detailed see matt0216 entry for guide. awesome skull matt0216.

wincaya has a great overall look and feel! and you have given everyone the path to follow.
Top job wincaya! can you get a skull like above mentioned instead? also see below for more tips.

1- We definitely want a background as done with wincaya's entry. For future reference get crazy
with the background we are thiking things like wincaya has done! also Other hints
for background are tribal designs, wings,flertalees, etc.

Think crazy, we are putting this logo on clothing and you just might see your design
logo take the world by storm!

2- We definitely want a detailed skull facing forward as done by matt0216.
Even tilted slightly down and looking forward might look good.

3- We definitely want a colored logo. Colors we want you to make a awesome look and
feel with are black, reds, greys and blues. You can use a couple or all colors.

Big bonus and chance of winning if the logo can also work as a single color logo or
if you are happy to do in both formats for the win.

4- The font on wincayas entry is pretty good and best so far, but they are all looking similar?

Not sure if we got the font point across some like wincaya's but a bit more edgy, grungy would be good.
What we really want to see is like we asked - Tattoo inspired type writing! (curves,points,little see through lines in the middle of the letters,etc)

You know the tough, edgy styles that everyone uses when they tattoo a name on their back , stomach,
chest, forearm, etc.ets see modern, tough, edgy text. Think like a ROCK STAR! Must be easy to read though!

Thats about as much info as we can give!

Ok Eeveryone here is the insentive to create the craziest logo and take the prize!

If the winning logo can meet all these requirements then the paypal CASH PAYMENT DOUBLES TO $100!
You read it right! but below is what you need to doulble your earnings.

1- The logo must be done in a few color but also work as a single color logo (a full color and single color logo provided)

2- The logo must be given to us in the formats we need for different applications. EG vector, cymk, etc.

3- The logo must be given three ways = 1- as a whole logo, 2- the rock star industries with skull and text only (excluding background) 3- The skull and the back ground only (excluding Rock star industries text).

You need to produce a kick butt logo to impress us and take the $50 BUT if you achieve the above 3 terms as well we will DOUBLE YOUR EARNINGS TO $100!

So start brain storming that winning logo what are you waiting for. I will run this thread until the logo that i just know as soon as i see it, is the one. When this one comes in i will pay up and stop the thread immediately.

In my opinion, CH probably doesn't want to get into copyright issue and wants to get original image. Or am I wrong, CH?
