Probably the best related domain possible not owned by Square Enix. Registered in 2000. Has been redirecting the entire time. After removing the redirect, forum was added just last week. Already ranking numbers 2-3 in MSN for the popular franchise name.. getting 550 uniques a day and rising rapidly. How much would it be worth?
High xxx can be achieved in a single day, if the site was ever to be developed and the full ranking potential of the domain was realised. I'm not asking for an appraisal of the current forum or even the current traffic.
Im not quite sure how much but I definatly know you will have tons of people wanting it. Great domain inho.
Ooh that's a nice one, definetely a keeper and a domain worth developing. Probably mid-low XX.XXX the only disadvantage that I can see is the potential trademark problems
Agree with everyone else. low to mid $xx,xxx. If I were going to take the plunge on this I'd need some kind of assurance I don't get screwed on the trademark/copyright issue.
Becausse of the posible (perhaps obvious) trademark violations I would say less than the WIPO fee of $1500. /askhoej
I would also have to say a couple hundred because of the trademark issues. You can say that it has been registered since 2000 and you havn't had any problems but as you have stated you just had it redirected. I think if you actually developed a final fantasy site around it you would run into problems with trademark issues. I could be wrong but just my opinion.... So High XXX
Getting screwed on the trademark issue sure is a possibility. I would have probably made the same comment. If a potential buyer offered low-mid xx,xxx and wanted some sort of assurance to protect at least part of the investment, what kind of assurance could be given... any suggestions? Without drasticly reducing the price based on this possibility, is there any reasonable arrangement possible?
lock monies from sale with a third party and for 1 year let buyer do what he wishes. or lease for 1 year with intent to purchase. if no trademark after 1 year money is yours.
