why are you so desperate to add your website to dmoz? It is usually very difficult to get your website listed in dmoz now a days.

You just navigate to demoz.org and submit the website for moderation.
But make sure that your website has high quality content/service
    Note:
submitting links will not guarantee you for inclusion

DMOZ do not accept a website in their listing very easily. If you want your website to be on DMOZ directory, make sure you have an excellent quality of content and is unique. Also, submitting to the proper directory is important as they cancel applications if the website is not submitted to the appropriate category.

Dmoz is good but it has lost a lot of value the last years...

Submitting your site to DMOZ could effect the way your site appears in the Google SERPS in a negative way. Thats why they created the meta tag <meta name=”robots” content=”noodp”>

Its not that easy to listing your site in DMOZ as its the Open Directory Project and the submission service is little tough just because it does not accept the each and every submission.. The description must be solid and there must be an appropriate category for listing in it.

To add a website in dmoz is not that difficult as you have to select proper category and submit sited details in it. But the real difficult part is to get it listed as till date, I have tried submitting around 5-6 websites in Dmoz and not a single have been approved.
    so best luck...
