I use ClickBank and sometimes e-Junkie to sell my ebooks. The benefit of using these services is that you don't have to implement a payment gateway or shopping cart, you just integrate theirs into your site. They also offer affiliate programs so others can sell your product for you for a specified commission (ClickBank is the best for this and has a huge affiliate marketplace). Cons of ClickBank are that it requires an upfront fee to setup and takes a percentage of each sale. You also have to wait a while to get paid. Pluses as I mentioned are that ClickBank has a huge marketplace where people can find and promote your product for you easily and all customer payment issues are handled by ClickBank. One con of e-Junkie is that they don't have a very large affiliate marketplace but you can get paid immediately through PayPal. Good luck!
To add to this, you can put it on Amazon, ebay (some countries dont allow digital delivery of an ebook, you have to send it on a CD). You could also setup a 2nd landing page (site) after initial sales have peaked, you are still monetising the ebook as this will dramatically increase your email list. All the best Mark
if he/she is motivated to use an Affiliate network to promote his/her e-book than there is no need of any second page , you just have to focus on the main page. Try to aware more people about your e-book via social networking.
