Best way to promote my completely new service

I created the website www.mytimecapsule.net, is a website where everyone can created their own time capsules.

At the moment my biggest problem is promote the service. What are the best ways to do that?

PS. If someone likes this project, I will accept partners to help in promotion, we will share the profits.

 

Probably a good start would be informing your friends and family, word of mouth is an excellent way of promotion and free.

Depending on what you are looking to do? are you willing to spend money?

 

Set up a free listing for your business in search engine local directories. That always works

 

Since your site offers a service for general audience, you don't need to hunt for a highly targeted traffic. I guess you can expect good results from Facebook, Twitter and the like. Actually, any traffic source would do well. Just drive as much traffic as you can any way possible, and you'll be fine.

Post flyers(if you have the balls to)

 

Use some article marketing ... but it's getting hard now due to new Panda updates...
Facebook is a good way too.

 

Make use of SEO and SMO activities to promote

 

create subdomain for blog the latest update, suggest information, experience in maintain and other excite info from your service. it will help to gain the visitor/user.

 

Put a feature for inviting friends. That way your current members will invite their friends and so on making it go viral.

 

A great way to promote a business like that is to have some video marketing done. I am currently offering a service on the forum for members to create video ads, submit and promote them. I would go with press releases. You want to get a buzz going for that kind of service.

Get quality backlinks. or if you want easy traffic buy it!

 

I would like to suggest you to go strong and hard after social networking bring people from Facebook to your main website, educate them about your idea, social networking is the best way for you to find interested people and promote your website.

 

that kind of product makes sense trying a viral+PR approach. get some press releases out, ask some bloggers if they could write a post about it, offer people a free trial if they write about it on their blog, etc.
