Where to Learn, How to Install PHP Script?

hi, im newbie on php. i want to learn how to install php script.
example, such as i want to install a php directory script, how can i install?
is there any site, that explain step by step? if anyone knows please post the url .....thanks for your help.

 

Normally, if the software is well designed and decently presented, the download will come with a README.txt or an INSTALL.txt file which tells you step by step how to get started.

Otherwise, most open source software packages have a forum dedicated to them you can enter for help.

It normally roughly consists of:

- Downloading the Zip
- Extract it locally
- Read instructions
- Modify a config file and save it
- Open your FTP client (like FileZilla)
- Upload everything
- Browse to the install file
- Follow on screen instructions
- That's it.
