Freelancers or full time

What do you think would be best - if you are running an S.E.O buisness (for some reason s-e-o keeps on disappearing when i type it out - strange).

    1) Use freelancers who know what they are doing in terms on Social Bookmarking, Business Directory Submissions, Profile link building (ang and paul stuff if you know what that is) and articles (maybe 80 articles a month which I submit to a premium article site using backlinks to move websites up the rankings) - maybe paying around $1200 a month for all of this.

    or....

    2) Train 2 staff to do the same - these would be people with no skills or little skills but i would be able to keep an eye on them and get them working 6 days a week 7 hours a day - including the rent on the office, staff wages and electricty and water rates, I think I could run it cheaper than $1200 a month - maybe $500 cheaper.

Do you think I would be able to get the same results with 2 full time staff members?

Don't expect the same result at the beginning stage since they are new. However, if you think for long term, own staff is better for this kind of job. The only concern is the stuff might leave after they learn those skill or feel boring

Option one would be more cost wise than the second one. There are many ways to use SEO for cheap prices rather than hiring freelancers to do it for you. Of course, if the work is too much then hiring someone would be wise.

You cannot 100% rely on somebody who is working remotely for you. No doubt that training staff who will be sitting in front of you in the office will produce much more sufficient results and work progress.

I should go with first option. It should be better to do your own work, but yes if the work increases you can assign it to your sub ordinates but its not a good option to be dependant on them entirely.

well i think maybe a mixture of the 2 - freelancers and also staff might be the way to go - if the staff dont turn up then they dont get paid - lets face it, Social Bookmarking, Business Directory Submissions, Profile (ang and paul) is all fairly easy but just boring - so as long as I can find staff willing to do this kind of job (I think I can as I live in a poor country where people need money) then it will be more productive/cost effective than freelancers.

Freelancer is the best way to go, hire about 3-4 freelancers depending on your workload, and use 2 of them more often like the way you use full time employees and the other 2 will be on casual use and more on backup purposes incase something happened with your first 2.

I think it depends on where you want to put your time and money. If you think you can save time and get great quality it could be worth the money. If you will spend the time and still have just o.k. quality, not sure if its worth it!

Diffidently option one. it will cost you less. Option 2 takes a lot of time, and you'll have to pay a lot.

Depends on the type of business you want to run.
If you have tight dead lines, you need reliable staff. So you should get people you can supervise and will not disappear in the middle of the contract.

I would prefer the first option because instead of keep watching people who work for me I can do the same by that time its nothing great..
