Up for sale is a complete social networking website I developed that is decently active and growing everyday. I have no time to upkeep the site anymore with college starting, and I don't have the advertising / marketing background or know anyone in order to really make it take off.

Users stay on the site for about 3-5 minutes each visit, many come back 3 to 4 times per day. There are currently 1,000~ registered users. The site has been active / online for about the past 5 weeks now.

The site features a global posting / status wall, a friends only posting / status wall, fully customizable profiles, notifications system, friend request, messaging, profile info, etc etc.

Technical side of things..

built with a combination of PHP5 OOP, jQuery, CSS3, Ajax, MySQL. Linux server / Apache.

The entire site was developed by myself, I used my own loosely structured framework to build the site and keep it flexible. All of the source, images, the domain name, the database / user info, etc are included with the sale.

Although I only see 314 pages indexed, you should try listing this on Flippa for wider exposure. Don't bother doing so if you can't prove all your figures though.

This looks nice but there really is no organic traffic. I would be interested in buying this though but certainly no way near your start bid of a $1000
I mean being realistic -
The script is very good!
There is hardly any organic traffic - 391 visits
chatroulette.com - 1351 visits

No revenue being made. If I have these figures wrong then please correct me.
I can see a possible potential hence why I maybe interested. What would be your starting price on this as I dont want to be wasting time here?

Hi Flex, while the traffic may be from chat roulette, I don't think you're seeing that a majority of those users who registered are returning every day, or every other day.

I currently have the site listed on Flippa, with the highest offer standing at $2,000.

The site is, in it's infancy - and like I've said in the flippa ad - I have no time to grow it with college a few weeks around the corner. It could turn into something big, it could flop. If you take into consideration how the users have taken to the site though, their returning to the site, the defense of the site when others criticize it - I would say the arrow points towards it having the potential to become something. The only thing it really needs is a better method of advertising, and some time to grow.

I think your website has great potential hence my interest The price is beyond what I would be looking to pay but I really do wish you the best of luck with it. And to be honest my personal humble opinion is - dont sell it, work on it! develop it and watch it grow as I think it might do quite well.
