Does your website PR drop?

    After google updated Panda, I got an up in PR, but it dropped soon. Averagely dropped 1 pr. How about yours? What's the problem?

    There was a second update shortly after the first, many PR's changed again or reverted to pre-panda level - it's been widely reported

    It is important, but you shouldn't make it the focus of your life. Google recently dropped it as a metric from their reporting because they were fed up with people constantly measuring themselves against it, but its still very useful as its a measure of the authority that Google place against individual sites.

    during the 1st pr update i lost my pr from 4 to 2 and later within a short period over a month again pr updated nd this time it reverted form pr 2 to 4........, :D

    Yes my website went down in PR by 1, I think it was because I wasn't adding any content to the site, or link building for some time. Either way, it should not be highly focused on as there are far more important things than page rank. On page/Off page are more valuable in terms of search engine rankings, and thats what its all about at the end of the day. A PR 1 site could be above a PR 3+ site on google rankings if that PR 1 site has more unique and relevant content, and backlinks, etc.
