Well partially agree to this as content is the first priority in SEO. But for link building and marketing, off page SEO is the foremost thing.

I think both are very important for a site so there is no need of comparison.
    Thanks

It's quite difficult to say off page is more superior than on page. Basically, both having the same importance, rather on page,as, it deals with sitemaps, robots.txt file, canonicalization errors and the main W3C validations. If your website will not follow all the basic guidelines then how it could be indexed or crawled. It's just like that you are planning to build a building, but, you don't have the money. Most importantly, as per my knowledge, Google spider crawls the on page first, then off page.

SEO is both onpage and offpage. Until we have done with proper onpage your offpage will be useless.

it depends on what content does your websites has. if its an online shop then i agree it with 10% on page and 90% off page. If its a blog with a lot of good articles i think it would be best with 90% on page and 10% off page, because with the good content/articles people will start to see and backlink on their website which mean will increase your page rank

How can you split it into percentages? I'd love to see you optimise a site using linkbuilding alone. It is possible but would be hard work. Write good, relevant copy for your site, update that copy regularly and initiate an ethical, organic backlink campaign.

yes off page is more important than on page..

    its ration i can call 2% and 98% ....

I am agree with this post ... most of the time for the website optimization is taken by off page SEO rather then on page. But it's good to do ON page once for the one website but you can do off page SEO any time again and again ...

I agree with those stats, Off page SEO is obviously the hardest of the two, anyone can do on page SEO and still not get any results, depending on how competitive the niche

I disagree. Depending on competition and other n * n stuff, off page seo and on page seo can vary. I have lots of web sites, tens of them that do first page with only on page seo.

In terms of importance I agree with the 30%/70%, but when you consider time its definitely 10%/90%. Both are important, if your site lacks quality, unique content and no target keywords then you cant expect great results. And if you have no backlinks, you cant expect results either.
