Google should update in offpage activity

    Hi all,

    I have a question in my mind after read lots of replies by SEO Experts that below mention activities not working for SEO point of view.If these are not effective to improve our ranking or traffic then Google should update off page optimization activities.Why we say that these activities are the part of off page optimization.

    High pr directory
    Article Sites
    Forum posting
    press release sites
    Social bookmarking
    Blog posting

    I believe that these mentioned techniques still work but there is a big "IF" involved ,
    High PR directory Submission will work "IF" Directory is worth anything, if there is only a "PR" and directory is not a useful resource than it is useless to submit to such directories.
    Article Submission will work "IF" you have a real genuine topic to discuss and spread awareness about, rewriting the same idea 100 times is not going to work.
    Forum Posting will work "IF" you are behaving like a human being, not just a spammer,
    Press Release Submission will work "IF" you have some really interesting and important news to tell people. Press releases with real news are quickly picked by top news websites like Google News.
    Social Bookmarking will work "IF" you really need to bookmark your content, i will say it again that spamming your content will not work,
    Blog Posting will work "IF" you have topics to discuss with your audience, nobody will follow your blind posting...

    SO in conclusion i would say that "BE REAL" in your approach, every thing will work !..:)

    Couldn't agree more with rankexperts. As long as you are ethically generating backlinks without spam, without automated blasting to directories, forums etc, then the methods you listed will all work. All Google want you to do is contribute worthwhile content that is useful to other users.

    Agree Jonah with your post, but if you used different resource for optimizing your web page then Google have no issue to not give rank to your site, but work hard and follow Google rules and regulation then easily you made your place on top of the Google search engine as well.
