    There are hundreds of software out there now, select that suits you to get you followers/friends.

    A colleague of mine has 2 twitter accounts, both with 40,000 followers. When we blast links I get more of a click through on my links with my 2,000 followers because my accounts are all real people, not bots and fake accounts setup to auto follow and reply etc. yuk!

    Why would you want to follow or followers from random locations?

    You miss the whole reason about being social and using social networking. It's not about numbers, it's about the relationship you build with these people. Geez, get with the program.

    If you care about numbers of social media , then you should not miss out of using tweinds, youlikehits and societ plus. 
    But if you do only want quality fans, then you do more campaign to attract those fans by your own , link it from your blog and website.
