How do I keep traffic coming when I am in vacation?

    Please answer quickly!

I am going on vacation very early Friday. I have three posts scheduled. I don’t get much SE traffic yet, I get some traffic from twitter (thanks to Ana) and I get some direct traffic.

I am using the tweet old posts plugin. I really need to keep my traffic over the 3 weeks I am away. I have one post a week which is normal for me. Do content won’t be the problem.

But how can I keep my traffic the same or even increase it?

I do a lot of forum posting, I follow lots of users on twitter, (I only have 300 followers, but I only started trying the “follow back” method)

Any tips? I don’t have a email list or many rss subscribers.

I have a photography blog, so would posting my pictures from the vacation help? They wouldn’t rank well in search engines, because I would have to write it on my iPad, and I could only do it from a restaurant. But I would take pictures anyway and be in the bar anyway.

Should I do this sort of short post? They wouldn’t be more than 200 words, and again they probably won’t rank. But for the readers I have and some extra twitter traffic….I don’t know. I need help!
(I am in a van on a camping site, so I won’t have Internet access)

I suggest you hire a temporary virtual assistant to do the traffic building for you while you are away. They can do SEO for the meantime. That's my suggestion! Enjoy your trip! :)

Clearly nobody above has read the post properly, pretty normal.. Anyway - You can still use twitter/forums on your iPad, so you can still post/tweet to get traffic, obviously not as much, but you can still do it, you can setup auto-tweeting software/scripts to send tweets promoting olds every x hours if you wanted too, you could add more photos from your holiday, but that's up to you, nothing wrong with more content..

I think posting vacation pics would be great. You could also use a free tool like Hootsuite to schedule your tweets while you're doing vacation stuff.

Just write about your vacation, keep adding stuff that people will be interested in seeing or reading, or get someone who's not going on vacation help you out a little, it's not a super long vacation. I hope you can enjoy your vacation though, because it doesn't sound very fun if you are on your IPad all day.

If you're still connected to the internet, I'd do a bit of forum posting anyway .. 2-3 posts/day won't be that difficult, especially if you're gonna still log in. It takes 10 minutes. If not, a virtual assistant would work. Or just enjoy that vacation :)

The era has gone when marketers had to be BABY-SITTING their online business. Whether you're in town or on vacation it shouldn't make any difference. Get some break by outsourcing your time consuming task to virtual assistance. Beware of those VIRTUAL ASSISTANT from hell though.

OH, it has been a week, and PSEditor hasn't back yet, another 2 weeks, assuming the author is just enjoying the vacation because he/she isn't writing anything here....it's summer, people should all go on vacation~~~~~if it's possible, make it happen!
