I want to view my competitors' overall search engine traffic to see if they're getting a lot more than me. How can I do this?
Or you could just do some competition analysis and work it out from that.. If your interested in hiring somebody for this job, let me know.
It's always good to keep an eye on your competitors but what do you hope to gain by learning how much traffic they are getting?
Well, I was checking out analytics digger, and it showed about how much total traffic they were getting from search engine. But I want to see how much they're getting for specific keywords, so I can see if those keywords are worth doing SEO for on my website. I think it's a worthwhile endeavor. I wasn't sure if the tool I used had any accuracy either on total search traffic, so I wanted other tools to use.
I would use the Adwords Keyword tool to see how many searches are done per month and see how competitive the term is. Also, see what they are they ranking and what you are ranking and how many visits/sales you are receiving. Best of luck!
