    Always use variety - don't do only blog commenting .. do some forum posting, profile links, directory submissions, social bookmark. There are free tools for all that even if don't do a ton, while give you a better diversity of links. There are some free directory submissions, I use social monkee for social bookmarks since one submission does 25 super quickly and that one is free (see my sig)

    there are plenty of ways of link building. before doing backlinks for your website you need to create a blueprint of it before.

    WAYS OF LINK BUILDING
    1. Article submission - try to submit your article to the top 4 -5 directories
    2. Forum Profile
    3. Blog Commenting
    4. Writing blogs and placing your links inside the content. this is also know as Guest blog posting
    5. Press release

    do keep in mind the additional following points.
    • IP variation
    • try to do minimum of 50 back-links per day to your website.
    • .gov & .edu back links are powerful
    • try to submit your website in demoz directory

    try to get quality back-links & not quantity. back-links from high pr websites are good for SERPs. don't look into account if the link is "nofollow".
    always keep in mind a link is a link. :)

    there are lot ways to build effective backlinks which can bring you page rank as per latest panda update.
    here they are,
    Directory submission, blog commenting, forum posting, social bookmarking, classified submission, press release submission, article submission, and bookmarking and sharing articles etc can bring you pagerank as well good serp results for your keywords too.

    Forum posting is an effective way to get backlinks, so is social networking. Still believe that directory submissions can fetch you god backlinks. Article writing is worth trying as well.

    you may try Blogging, try to create new and interesting posts each day and place the links in a more natural way in you posts ( just don't put unnecessary links). You may use social bookmarking to spread the word.

In this method you have to write some articles based on your site theme or say services and then submit it into different popular article directories. Remember that submit one article on maximum 20 sites and for other sites you have to spin it or write new article.

    you just do some link exchange activities and also post in high PR blogs and forum. Also link wheel process is so effective for increse the popularity of link builing. Also use social media sites for increse links.

    I will suggest you to do seo activities in high PR dofollow sites either its directory submission or its article submission or social bookmarking. You should concentrate on these high PR dofollow sites to get quality backlinks which works well enough.
