I have finally decided to develop a url shortener over it. That will boost my Alexa rank and PR then will try to sell it.

kinda tough for me to appraise this TLD that I noticed a minute ago ( of course, on this thread ). I think you should stick to your decision. A URL shortener will certainly make this domain more than established over time and once it is developed enough, simply sell it.

 

I couldnt find a good free or paid URL shortner script. I got a custom designed one but that too turn out to be buggy and the developer is not responding.

As for VC, the first thing that springs to mind is Venture capital.
How about "Deep Pocket Venture capital"
