We all know that careful and well researched use of Adwords can bring traffic to a site but how useful would it be buying traffic from the likes of http://www.ad-site.com/Traffic.php. It's tempting to get 25,000 so-called targeted visitors to your site for $100. Has anyone tried such a service and noted what sort of CTR eventates from this type of traffic?
I tried a similar service a few months back and purchased 10,000 hits. I'd had all 10k in less than a week and 0% improvement on adsense revenue or affiliate sales compared to previous weeks. Most of these sites provide traffic in the form of pop ups which in my experience is extremely non targetted traffic. Log files showed all hits came from the same IP so i'm not even convinced the traffic was genuine. Hopefully someone here will be able to recommend to you a company that provides genuine targetted traffic that works. I would be wary but you know what the say about 'once bitten....' I personally choose to spend my time and money pushing my sites in search engines, link exchanges articles etc etc.... Its almost always targeted and easier to convert. I never paid near to $100 by the way so maybe that was the problem, you get what you pay for??? Good luck
Adwords is always better...I have only tried 1,000 visitors about 3 times, but the $5 is always better spent on adwords.
Adwords is better because it requires a few things: - People don't see the ad, unless something on the page they are looking at (that they presumably want to be seeing) is relevant to your ad. - People don't click the ad unless they choose to. - Some people will know it's an ad because they are savvy enough to understand that "ads by goooooogle" means "someone is making money if I click here" - After all that, when they land on your page, there is a good amount of reason for them being there. I have used the targeted traffic services, too. I received less than 1% improvement in my site's sales. Further, considering how valuable bandwidth can be (and I was concerned my site was not loading fast enough), I would rather save the traffic until I really need it. One customer who buys is infinitely more-valuable than 10,000 who just waste bandwidth.

I once paid about $50 for something like 15,000 supposedly targeted visitors. Unfortunately those 1,000s of visitors are always tempting. The problem is they all seem to be tire kickers -- if they are even real visitors in the first place. People may be angry with Google but at least we know it's a serious company and so do searchers. I would rather spend money on AdWords or at least spend time (if no money) targeting and contacting people in my market. If you aren't comfortable with AdWords then PRWeb is always good.
Traffic from search engine requires good SEO strategy and time.It will take 3-6 months of good backlinking to push your site in the first page of google.Adwords requires money. If you are efficient in keywords research, try adwords, it works!!
