Pretty much because 1) It's human reviewed (which takes time) and they can be super picky.

Because some categories can potentially never be looked at.
Because many submissions are not ready
Because some submissions are rejected because the editor does not like you (Competition)
Because some submitters suggested to the wrong category

The list is really endless. Your ONLY hope is to simply suggest your site ONE time, then move on to bigger & better ways to promote your site.

You can certainly apply to be an Editor in that cat and then, assuming it complies with the guidelines, you can list your own site. But you should note that our Metas are pretty astutue and rarely approve Editors that appear to be joining simply to list their own site, with no intentions of contributing and improving the directory as a whole.

If you mean the blog in your sig, it's just over a month old and has but one post. IMHO you should wait at least six months before suggesting it, and only doing so then if it has around 40 posts or more.

To add to what has been stated, if you mean the one in your sig I wouldnt submit it to any directory as a "blog". Any directory worth submitting to will have criteria for acceptance of blogs that include a few criteria to make sure it is an ongoing endeavor, and that one wouldn't fit. That's not a slam against using a blog platform to build a non-blog website, there are very good sites built with WP CMS that are not truly "blogs".

On another note: Snooks... you need some separation in that sig. I now have these awful images in my head of locksmiths performing Lasic surgery. :p

So i guess you didnt read the guidelines where you are told to submit once and once ONLY??

They wont advise you anything by email, in time, you will either be included or you wont be included....simple as that. Just move on, promote your site by other means.
