Is my keyword research technique is good? what more to add?

So basically i am using the google keyword tool ,i am going for keyword for the tech blog ,basically i am picking up keyword which have 50000 or less competeive sites (writing keyword in double qoutes in google) and having exact searches more than 6000 per month .
Is this correct what more to do?

 

Pick keyword that has high traffic and less competitive..your method is good in my point of view..

 

Look at the quality of the sites that are ranking high for the keywords you are using as these are the sites you will be competing with

6000 search per month is very less. please select those keyword, which less in competition and high in search. 6000 search is very less

 

Yes initially your targeted keyword should must be Less competitive and High Volume search like It should must be a balance between Competition and Search Volume.

 

Also you can Use kEI formula its really nice way to find targeted keywords

For me, 6000 month searches is fine. My advertisers pay pretty well.

 

6000 searches a month is should be okay, if your keywords are used by highly motivated consumers and the number of affiliates using the same keywords is low enough were you can penetrate that niche using seo.

 

hi, i thinks your method already good, you can use keyword tools API like SEMRUSH,
by using it, you can get your competitor site keywords with details.. that you can use for research.
