What are criteria of acceptance in adsense - I have just launched a new site

For my earlier site my adsense approval was rejected ( probabely because I am a regular google adwords giver ). But my revenue model for the new site is completely advertisement based. I want to know if there is any specific criteria for selection in google adsense

Your site 6 months old and some good traffic on it. This year Google adsense is very strict for Asian Countries.

 

I learned that I need to wait for another 5 months . I can't start giving ads now as the site has to be 6 months old. Is the time starts from date of registration or date of submission to google search engine ?

 

Couple of years ago, Google would accept anyone into the Adwords, right? since when did they start and turn strict?

 

question is not adwords I have an adwords account which is active but perhaps because of the adwords account google didn't allow me to have a adsense account for the same site inspite of fulfilling all criteria

 

If you have good traffic to your site, try some other ads network apart from google
