    I am also confused ,because I am also a big fan of Facebook and everyday I spent minimum 1 hour for facebook.

    Yes, of course Google + is a new social network, and as I think it will become more effective than facebook when it opens. Even now there are 10 mil users their and it's with invitations, I think it has great potential, and as for SEO it's Google own network of course Google will pay more attention to it ;)

    Of Course Google+ is new social networking site....but it is not clear either it is effective than FB or not because this time Google + is like baby in comparison of FB.

    As the launching of Google Plus (Google+), the battle between social networking website has begun. The people are thinking that Google Plus will be vital competator of Facebook and Twitter. But in the other end, Google Plus take more time to get the users like Facebook and Twitter. So it is very hard to get much of users around the world having millions of users social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter because most people around the world, are using social networking website other than Google Plus alreay.

    This is not the first time i saw some members posting this to us and ask like this.My answer is YES it is a new social media owned by google and in my own observation it works great and looks good.

    There's several issues with Google Plus. First, it's not open to all, it's mostly filled with tech people and media people right now. Then, there is no API for it, which means you cannot integrate it in your site except for the +1 button, but Google says it's coming.

    No actually the site has started almost 2 weeks ago now, still in Invite Only, and it has around 1 million users according to a post from a Google employee recently.
