Website dropped in SERPs to 30+ and 40+ page for most of my keywords

Hello everyone. Since I am not that experienced in SEO, I decided to present my problem to all valued members on this great forum.
I have an affiliate site for about year and a half. Slowly but surely it climbed on Google SERPs for many good converting keywords. I was working on one template which I updated from time to time and everything was working well. About 2 months ago, I was testing basically a one page site for the same product, which I created and placed links and banners to the official product website (with my aff code, of course). When I did it for the first time, my website dissapeared (dropped significantly) from Google SERPs for all of my keywords, but came back to the original positions after only 2-3 days. I had couple of sales after that, but I was not actually satisfied with the overall performance.
So, about 10 days ago, I decided that I will replace that one page website with the new template (with couple of pages like: FAQs, Contact, Order, Ingredients, etc.) In a matter of 2-3 days my website dissapeared from Google again, except for one keyword which is still on page 1, but dropped from #1 to #4. All other keywords are far away on pages 30+ and even 40+. From my prior experience, I expected it to come back after 2-3 days, but it still didn't after 7 days. So, is there anything to worry about? Can I do something to impact the situation? All comments from experienced webmasters are welcome!

    hi koncisb,

i guess you are not aware of the fact that google don't like one page websites.

after the google panda update many websites have been dropped from the 1st page ranking.

if you can create your website using wordpress and have couple of unique articles in the website then it will certainly reappear in the SERPs. :)

    Hi Abhishek Kundu,
Thank you for a quick reply and for your advice. Now I have a full website with multiple pages on it, so would it reappear in SERPs?
Also, do you have any free manual or guidelines on how to create a wordpress website that will look good and convert well? If yes, please, post it here or pm me. Thanks again!

OK. Well, my website is an affiliate site & template which I downloaded from the affiliate program I promote and it's probably seen as a mirror site, so it makes sense that panda don't like this kind of sites. I obviously need to renew my website in a thorough way (like Abhishek Kundu suggested).
I guess most of my competetion will also suffer sooner or later, because most of their sites are even worse than mine.:p
    Anyway, thanks for the comment!
