Hell friends, I was wondering how will Google treat sites with more Google plus likes like we have in case of Facebook. Did anyone else notice this factor in the upcoming seo projects. Any clues? Anxiously looking for the replies. Staler .
Google+ is already proving a huge success and is starting to take a share of the social networking market. The key idea is to make recommendations to people (friends, colleagues etc) about websites and content. As what Google craves is good content, then obviously it is going to help the ranking of a webpage. A personal recommendation is a strong SEO signal. As studies have shown, Google+ is slowly taking away some of a twitter tweet's weigh in terms of social signals for ranking. It shows currently though that Google+ will help a page be indexed much quicker, and will help its ranking overall. Keep an eye on Google+ it is going to be big in my opinion
I'm sure it will effect rankings in the future. It is however not fully rolled out and is too early to tell.
Yes i think it will effect the rankings also, the more +1 on your site, and the more circle of friends you have means more organic traffic.
Well, As far as I know about google+ It'll not help in SERPs. It's like a facebook like button for sharing your interest in your networks...
Google Plus is growing quickly. Very quickly. A few days after it launched,It was not so popular. Then, just a few days later, they opened up a huge window that allowed many new users to finally join. And now there are some serious signs of rapid growth for the fledgling facebook competitor.
IMO, its like this, +1'ed articles or pages can beat the top 1 on the SERP, if you have lots of friends on your google plus that +1'ed your article, page, or link.
