Best Email Marketing tool?

    I am looking around for a good email marketing tool. I've looked at both MailChimp and Interspire Emailmarketer, but it's not allowed to send "unsolicited bulk emails" (euphemism for spam).

    Does anyone know of a good tool to send out mass emails?? Which are not a opt in only emails thing...

    It seems to me you are possibly heading for trouble. Are you really intending to send out spam? I can't see the point of sending out a mass of unsolicited emails. It seems the quicket way to get your server to close you down

    Well, we are allowed to do that in the country where I live as long as the recipient is a company and not a private person. I've got a list of a whole bunch of company address, so right now I need some sort of tool to send them out...

    Are you talking thousands of companies? Might be better to just send out individually and outsource it if it's not a HUGE amount of them. Otherwise, you might do a search on some email services based in your country...while it may be legal in your country, just make sure that the email service you use doesn't shut you down for doing so based on THEIR policies! Just doing a bit of brainstorming....hope you figure out a way that works for you!

    Yes. Some tens of thousands. But I'll do a thousand or two at a time I think.

    Where would I find someone I could outsource this to? That sounds like an alright option.

    I have searched for email services here at home, but they all have a no UBE (unsolicited bulk email) policy...

    If email services in your country don't allow sending of unsolicited email, results that spam is illegal in that Country also.

    When you say "outsource it", do you mean finding some cheap (perhaps Asian) labor to send out all the emails manually, one by one?

    Some of the best are Aweber and Getresponse, but you have to have your subscribers re-subscribe again, and most don't bother

    This guy got it on the head. Aweber is a good system, but the way they get everyone to opt in is a big deal and you end up losing like 60% of your subscribers.

    That's a waste. I remember when I was setting up my site for slim fit shirts, it lost like 60% of my subscribers simply because of their stupid opt in system.

    The best one is awber. There's nothing that can top it in terms of reliability and deliverability. It's simply the best and if you are serious about email marketing go with them, not some self hosted script that'll block your entire ip range!
