How important is forum links?

Hi,

As I'm in forum then I wanted to know all of your's views on forum back links. How important is it.

What if you use only forums for building links, would it be beneficial for your site?

I think getting forum links is not so easy but if you learned it well and you have good writing quality then you may build good links from forums also.

How do you ensure quality of links, if you are building links using forums?

 

At forums, you should have links at your signature - when they are allowed. This is how someone may click on your link and visit your website.

Even for simply signing up in a forum and having a profile with your links, you already improve your website’s ranking.

However, you have to look for forums with a high PR – Page rank

Forum links can still work perfectly fine. Use them on your buffer sites, and do not link to much of them directly to your moneysite.

Nice post friend. I agree with your opinion. But when the signature link is going to "no follow" link, I think that so hurts. However, just write the nice thread and posting will be more valuable in the forum. especially in high PR forum..

 

Not much, depends on many things, on the traffic of the site, how is Google indexing it, as a spam forum or not. The rank does matter, but don't let it lead you. Forum links most often are dofollow, but, even the spam areas. In general, it depends on Google, how does it see the forum, even if your post is relevant to the topic if Google sees the forum as a spam area your links won't have the same weight as in some other site.
