How to add more field in registration for joomla

How to add more field in registration for joomla? This question is posed by many joomla programmers. There is one answer is that hack joomla core, change the code of joomla. I have another answer, which i have done for myself and now and i want to share for everyone.
I have write a component that help me add more field of registration. this component have its own registration page, and one login plugin, that help we control user who login. It has more function like payment for register for a number of day, after that it can automatic unpublish user.
In the future, i intend to expand it with some function like own article, selling article of user ...

This error seem so strange, i didn't use any thing concern xml. and the error come from other components ( com_menus). Can you tell me which version of joomla you use? or anything that you think it conflict with. This for joomla 1.5.
I hope that I can fix this error for future using.

I am Using Joomla 1.5 and Also checked On 1.6 Same errors come out.Yours ideas seems good but some problems,anyway keep developing.

I think i know why it has that error.
It is about the xml file. it should be utf-8 instead of utf8. I have changed it. I upload it here, can you test it again. THank you very much. View attachment com_jwuserv1.2.zip

 

I have change something, and developed jwuser version 1.3 for joomla 1.6.

I have developed jwuser version for joomla 1.5. User can come to http://jw-extensions.net, my homepage, register for paid member one year or many years, then they can post their articles with their google adsense. So they can get money from their google adsense through my site?
What do you think? is it a good idea?
