    Hello guys,
Yesterday,my server was crashed and my site was down for 7 hours, though it took around 5 hours to rebuild the server but my site started after 7 hours.
It is a shocking news for me that i am recieving only 20% of google traffic as compared to the traffic one day before. Can anyone here suggest me what is happening and why traffic is decreasing???
I saw a Matt cutts video in which he stated that you wouldn't loose search engine ranking and traffic if your server is down for 1 day.. but mine was only for 7 hours??....:(

Your ranking will come up again . it happens during server down . You will have to wait about 24 Hours . i have also faced this problem before

    Downtimes affect rankings

    1-2 weeks to recover ....

Do you check on your major keyword serp, chech whether huge drop or totally gone.
It might due to some other factor too, I experience the same but I get back the traffic after 3days

I am getting the same amount of traffic from other search engines from the first day... its only happening with google.,,
Before the crash, when i used to search my website latesthub.com on google... there used to be 3 or 4 pages from my website and a link showing "More From Latesthub.com" but now when i search latesthub.com it only shows the homepage link???? i think my site is not indexed properly till now but when i open my google webmaster account , sitemap area shows that 393 urls submitted and 390 urls indexed... i am totally confused... !!

If your pages/backlinks are still in tact your traffic should fluctuate back to its norm in no time.
