    Reading this thread make bit confuse, some said directory no longer effected to SEO, while the other said it worth as backlink.

    I cant say its worthless but its not so important. We need to think about submitting to 100 quality directories instead of 1000 useless directory. Because google still looks for quality backlinks.

    I think, Directoy submission is still worthy if you're submitting on high quality directories ...It's the basic step of SEO...


    @etc he is asking about directory submission not article directories.....
