How to get more followers in twitter

I tried twiends a couple of times and it seems to be full of people who'll follow you just to get a follow back and then a day or so later, they'll unfollow you. Maybe I just had a bad experience with it.

 

Post good content. Usually effective if your targeting a certain niche or audience.

I think the real way is just to keep active, don't just go crazy with following others and re tweeting, else you'll just look like spam.

just follow them who are belong your keyword or site i mean if you have technology's site then search in twitter and follow the results and then follow their followers.
