The story of Ymads, the latest advertising scam network.

Ymads.com, a new company that rose prominently during the latest months, has eventually left the sinking boat without paying the Publishers. Just as many expected but yet some stubborn and greedy (new) publishers didn’t want to believe that it was a scam.

Oh well. Where shall we start ?

The WHOIS shows that it is registered by a shady registrar to an individual in Zimbabwe. The WHOIS info could be fake and/or it could be run by a group of individuals. Some believe it is run by some online serial scammers.




I called the number but I got no response Oh well.

Ymads was offering very high and absurd prices for putting their ads in your site. Every old webmaster could understand that it was a scam as no company would pay this high.

At the end they send this e-mail to the publishers, as an “excuse” for not paying up.

Don’t even expect to get paid. Here is who has your money.


Protip : Don’t trust any new company that pays high.

i will put this article to the top because i think its brilliant. I stop using ymads since i reach $50 to see if they do pay or not. And until now, noone receive the payment

 

It's funny that the admin email is alex@ and Alexander Fernandez is not their employee any more, are they having two Alex in their company? It is such a coincidence.

Thats what happens when people don't accept the reality and reality is no network can pay more than what traffic is worth for, when they do that means there is something wrong and has to be careful, only webmaster who gets greedy they get cheated with such network, thats how a network can cheat these many webmaster, because they know most people run after high benefits, without even figuring how good or real it could be and when get cheat, they blame such sites, instead I would say, if you want do online business than put your own common sense and join only network which looks reliable not just high paying sites.

So how much money did people get scammed? I got a fairly large sum taken off me fair to say lesson is learned

 

A Good lesson for greedy webmasters-Thats Ymads..No one listened to me when i said its a scam network after 1 month of their service.Infact at that time i was the one who reported it as scam.All was asking for proof and all i can show was their email reply to my payment request and no one was ready to accept that..I lost only 1 days ad impressions from my site(made around $10 in ymads in 1 day),but there are so many GREEDY WEBMASTERS WHO MADE $1000+ in "YMADS"(hehehe)..I feel extremely sorry for those guys..Anyway learn from Your mistakes.Good Luck

Present is a beauty full teacher. It tells us what we did in past!, also a warning for future :lol:
When we do business we should ready for loss/profit. Some cheaters come and create problem for honest and clean network who exactly want business. We can not deny each new network. Because company grown after age and if it could not create trust it go in hell.

Thanks for the info, I saw ymads from many traffic ex and ptc sites but I haven't join it yet. Just only Neobux now.
