2. Url having key phrase.
3. NO duplicate url.If exist use canonical url tag.
4. Lots of content.
5. Links from authority site.
6. Proper title tag.
7. Less js and css code on page( should be in include.js or .css)
8. W3validated code.
9. Do not allow unwanted pages to be parsed by google( as they will in that case not parse pages you wanted google to).
10. Site Map( XML and .html)
11. Make sure all pages are linked with no more two steps from home page.
12. A higher PR will help some what but more important is more content and pages on your site.
13. Use of H1 and H2 tags.
14. Proper density of key poghrase to be targeted.
