How many people do you greet per day? What makes you decide not to greet someone?

    Hi,

    How many people do you greet per day? What makes you decide not to greet someone?
    I greet people who I think are acceptable. A person's appearance is meaningful. I usually don't greet people who are potentially unacceptable.

    That is a difficult question to answer as I meet so many people everyday.I greet at least 20 coworkers,then I entertain probably 5 or 6 clients daily.I say hello to my 3 renters also that I rent rooms to when I'm in Calgary.When I'm working in Toronto I have renters there too and even more coworkers and clients.

    when i see my neighbor i will tell hai... some of them response and tell hai some people did not response...then next time i dont say...hai or hello...

    I do not normally greet all people around me unless they are that close to me. Like irfan123, I always greet all my family members including my mom every morning.

    Typically, 3.5 a day. But only the "potentially unacceptable" ones.

    I try to at least smile and say 'hi' to anyone I see during the day. I know it might seem cliche or cheesy but I believe if someone is having a bad day my smile might help them see that not all is bad and some people are glad they are here.

    It's a great, I agree. there are a lot of people are difficult to in greet. because he was busy with his own affairs.
