You can create a page for your business, with links on the wall to products and services offered by your site, invite your friends to be fans of your page, and run Facebook's own PPC to get fans

 

it can be done by two ways. you can use the option to create new pages and after that post the updates that is done in your blogs or sites. or you can also post the updates in one of your popular account's status regularly. both are very effective. you can also sped some money to advertise about your site.

You can use fb in several ways for marketing, some of them as per my knowledge are,
1.Fan pages
2.Facebook ads (Highly targeted than Adsense), etc

 

I try to add friends with common interests- I nearly always send a message along with the request, if I don't know them.

With my fan/business page I have used a couple of ways to drive traffic to them. I have used videos, posting them round groups where I think people might be interested in the topic- usually a general marketing or personal development topic.

I have also used Facebook ads which are great- relatively inexpensive.

FaceBook is great for marketing and FaceBook's ad campaigns are very useful also, i have used them before and found i got great results for the money i paid.

Also there is RSS feeds and FaceBook has RSS feeds built in when you make a page for your product/site/business/band/whatever category you are.
