Google+1 Button Impact on SEO?

There is already ongoing google+1 clickjacking script. One of the member of my forum share it on me and i guess it was been in public already. Now people seem to abuse this google+ 1 already.

 

I agree. The 1st page sites stay good, while 2nd and 3rd page sites suffer. It will become harder to increase a site's rankings.

 

Google +1 will have impact on SERP. My website is in 2nd position for keywords(after the day its created) after 20 google +1

 

Does that really surprise you?
Wondering when the first offers for clicking the +1 button will come out here on digitalpoint in the buy-sell-trade section or fiverr etc.

Google has come out and said that you shouldnt rely on page rank as a sole factor of the power of a website...and i don't think +1 will be too much of a factor in the SERPs for a while. Slowly waiting for a +1 update and for Google+ to start taking off.

 

The aim is to have webmasters and admins build user friendly pages as opposed to trying to thwart the efforts of the search engine algorithms

 

Difference between the standard results and a personalized results could get bigger, that would be an interesting SEO development.

 

+1 is an idea that can easily be spammed - but Google knew that when they put the system in. There must be safeguards to protect legitimate users.

 

The +1 is a great idea, but there are always going to be ways around it I think. That's why the +1 clicking script was made, and things are only going to get worse.

Plus what if someone checks out a site, likes it but forgets to click the +1? Then the +1 really isn't serving any type of purpose.

And right now, 90% of people probably won't click it. They get what they want and move on.

 

They are just like Like buttons. If you don't like the page then it means that its not worth sharing.
More likes are going to define the quality of the page.

 

For now it will personalize your search results. If you friends in your circle like something, and it is relevent to your search, it will show up like John +1 this. It is the same idea as social reach in Facebook ad.

 

is there any trusted source that states that there is correlation between +1 and SERP? If not, all above is simply speculations.

 

Never actually seen a +1 section in my account, will check it out and SS it later.

 

The +1 button shows a correllation with traffic only because the more traffic your site receives, the more likely you are to get +1's.

In my opinion, the +1 button does not have a big effect on SEO at the moment, however as more and more sites start using it, I believe google will start using it to see trends on the web.

Just my personal opinion.

 

no no +1 button is just for those people who for example when google "hot girls" then think all results are fake and gay. this just help them when for example see their friend liked that result then they can trust it and check it out. this is kind of handy when you wanna google for Photoshop crack then you can see which result is trusted by your friends (because all the people download it from google) and you will know other result are just trojan hehe..

 

my site have +20 G+ and i dont see any change

It does impact on SEO. Especially spammers can easily abuse it.

 

Is +1 on the site and +1 tab when you search something on the search engine same or different?
If different what is the better option to go for.
