    i been using ping system . But will this cause us get banned ?
    Ping website mostly use if your website or blog index are low. It help you to get higher index and notified search engine about your page content change according to the anchor text.

    I don't think pinging cause websites to get banned because it just notify ping services about new content. I am using http://pingler.com from long time and so far it worked great for my sites.

    To ping a site is to give updates to many feed websites.
    Rss Feed url is always helpful to make good traffic as well good ranking for particular keyword.
    Your website must be like- website.com/feed or website.com/rss

    Then you can submit this feed URL in various feed submission urls like- pingomatic.
