You can try differnet scripts that comes with dmoz database i think Jim Westegren released one script anyway checkout http://www.phplinkdirectory.com check thier forums and go to modifcations section there are alot of mods for importing dmoz links etc to your directory :)
Edit:LOL Someone gave me rep with reason:its no jw's site (JW=Jim Westegren) well dude you should have mentioned your name i would have not given you red rep..but I was just saying that Jim also released one but you can check David site(phplinkdirectory.com) theres alot of mods there for this stuff...:) I am not complaining :)
    Thanks,
    Saad :)

http://rdf.dmoz.org/ for the database itself. Beware - it contains (very) hard core pornographic links.

The "a" key on your keyboard doesn't seem to be working all the time. ;)

Not exactly giving - for every category you use you are supposed to give them a link - that is the deal. If you republish all 600,000+ categories then that is 600,000+ links in a format of their choosing.

Well... yes... it isn't just possible, there is a link on the DMOZ site to the database download - see my post above for that link. What might not be a good idea is that it contains unsavoury links that might make you puke if you are not careful. ;) I am sure I once suggested internally that a version of the download minus the filth would be a good idea, but clearly they want to share it all.

Yes, it is available...but beware. That would be one hell of a dowload for the whole DMOZ database! Also, think of how many other ppl have cloned DMOZ. The big three search engines won't like you for having duplicate content, and believe me....DMOZ is very much duplicated.

I did not exactly make a mod.

    Just go here: http://www.bie.no/products/phpodp/
Just a few PHP files and you have it. Easy to change design.

WARNING: Using a copy of DMOZ will lower your trust in Google and you will risk have your entire site going in the supplemental index no matter how many backlinks or if you have PR6 and it is a super site. I know.
