    You could use twitter and post your link to your followers. You could use landing pages and squeeze pages to direct traffic to your offers and collect their emails. You could also use article marketing with ezine articles and article base and craigslist is also good

    At first do some research and find out good keywords. Then start writing good quality articles. They should be error free, easy to read, unique and useful. Use keywords in title and maintain the right density of keywords in the body. Then decorate your article nicely with necessary images, videos, etc. Then use proper meta information and also build site map.
    Then start doing off page optimization like forum participation, blog commenting, article sharing, video sharing, image sharing, social bookmarking, PR submission, guest blog posting, etc.

    If you have some money to spend, then you may also use Adword and/or Facebook ads program for promoting your new site.
