How the doorway pages are defined and the role of it in SEO. Does it play positive role in SEO. Give some example or a link it has been used that i could understand easily.

 

Doorway pages is ab black hat technique and these pages are use to chat the search engine so don't do this and try to avoid it.

Doorway pages is a way of fooling the search engines in which you strongly optimize a page for targeted keywords (long tail, short tail, LSI).
These pages appear in search results ad when user clicks on it, they will redirect you to actual page of the website.

This is one form technique of backhat SEO.
