Anyone noticed improvment in Y refferals yesterday. Seems like some filter was off for a day. My SERPs was almost like at first of April. Just for a day  Double Y traffic and double sales?

I've had some issues with Yahoo since the new update at the start of the month. I'm just now starting to see some improvements (within the last couple of days).

The SERPS on Yahoo for our competitive keyword have not updated for over 3 weeks. Very strange.....usually there is some action every few days or so.....any hypothesis'?

My hypothesis on this is that Yahoo is garbage.

For our real estate terms, I am seeing serps change every day within the top 100. I believe yahoo is dancing daily. This may only be related to real estate but I see changes every single day.

This would be just "everflux" and not dancing. It is common for all of the search engines to have movemnet on a daily basis from 1-7 spots but 1-2 spots movement is very, very common.

yahoo is dancing.Web rover you can try running a blog and post some messages and add link from your website and you will your pages in yahoo SERP with 24-48 hours.

I was in same situation and i tried running a blog now i have almost all my site pages in Yahoo SERP some are in top 30's .But bottomline is no body goes on yahoo to search .My pages are in yahoo SERP for 3 weeks now but i don't see anybody visiting my site coming through yahoo.

Go for google, Google indexing does takes time but that's the only thing available to get hits on your site .

My question for you is... What keywords are you targeting and are they ones that get lots of searches?

If your sites reach the first page, the ranking seems to be very stable, actually so stable that I don't have to care about it any more.

to me is seems like yahoo is using 2 different set of results... i keep checking the same serps, and for the last 2 weeks or so, the same sites come in the same positions one day, and then new sites come in and fill those slots the next day.... it's always the same sites though, which leads me to believe there are only 2 different sets of results.... anyone else notice this?

I don't worry about it, Yahoo likes older sites, and I will keep my server up and running, I guess that's good enough...

9 months is not very new, I'm talking about a site of less than one month old. If you build enough links and yahoo doesn't give you a top rank, then I would say Yahoo doesn't like new sites. MSN doesn't seem to care, one-week-old site can also get good ranking.
