PR9 directory!? Kidding me!

It's either hacking or the little pecker head that put the code there works for the University. Either way, its BS.

 

This is the exactly the same greed that got most of the directory owners penalised in September when it came to the attention of Google.
People gaming the PR like this is going to land us all right back in the same place.
These directories should be reported to Google as the quicker the PR is manually removed from them the quicker they will think about doing it again.

Excellent point. For me, it is a choice of who I believe is more:
1. Google caring about pagerank gamers
2. Pagerank games who go months or years with no penalty

It's a difficult dilemma for which I have no solution. As an observer, it has happened repeatedly.

 

These are the same person and useless posts...

 

Don't really see much of a difference between these and those who buy domains with pre-existing PR and re-purpose them as a directory to take advantage of the PR.

 

Yes you are right they have hidden link from pr10 site , form Europe research institute

and after update they removed the link.

Aside from PR talk for a moment, are the masses of .info directories still being born everyday? I know in the past it had got rather silly the sheer amount that were appearing, you would think that comon sense would make people realise that it just makes no sense to do some of what they do, from creating masses of cheap directories to trying to trick people with false pagerank.

I now feel proud of my 3 general directories, having held onto them since their 2007 birth, even wanted to sell them not long ago but now glad to have kept them.

 

There is a lot of fake PR web directories around here, you may also reveal them in this thread.

 

I dont Know what they Guys Doing to get pr10 i have my 45 web directory and all my web directory are on pr1 since last year.

 

It does seem to have the desired effect, no sooner are they mentioned here that the pr is usually removed.

Sometimes they put their own foot in it, on a number of occasions people have come here to brag of their high or higher pr, only to be called out for it, give em a gun and they will shoot themselves, lol

 

Lol, and will most likely stay at pr1, why do you need 45 web directories? Theres no more money to be made from multiples.

Google only started one search engine, not dozens of them, they branched out with additional services to compliment their existing business.

 

Hahaha... Absolutely. There's a lot of crazy ass's just burnt coz of this PR update. Frustration is all I see.. Probably from next PR update they will adopt the methods what those high PR backhack-linkers have!

The recent PR update is pretty weird

 

as far as know, it is not that difficult to hack and inject codes into others websites, it is kind of rape, isn't it?

i used to learn css like how people make shadow on their site by opening view page info on firefox and then check for the media. i used to find some blank image, but i though it was for some clearfix css or something. Now i know the other function for that kind of image!! lol
