    I see that there are a lot of Threads about someone getting married. So I'm wondering, What do you guys think the best age to get Married is?

    For me it's around 28.

    Hmm, I think NEVER is a good time.
    I mean, it must be great fun to lose complete control over your money and life to a woman, but I'll pass.
    Oh yea, the U.S. Courts make the deal even sweeter for men. I mean, who wouldn't want to get married, right? lol


    P.S. My boss and his girlfriend have been with each other for 17 years (not married). I can guarantee if they were to get married, it would last all of 2 or 3 years. Then he would be out 50%+ of his money, home, cars, etc.
    There is no reason to get married, it's just a piece of paper that ruins relationships.

    It depends on when the person feels ready. It's a personal choice. One guy maybe ready at age 20 while another may not be until age 40.

    When to get married? Good question. I’m starting to believe that the latter the better. I was 21 when I got married and now think it might have been too young.

    Who cares? Whenever someone feels they are ready to handle marriage, then more power to them. However if I am ever crazy enough to get married, the guy is stuck with me for life because there is no way I am getting a divorce.

    So honestly, I don't think I'm ever getting married. :p

    I just got married in January of this year at 26. My wife is 23. Neither of us were planning on getting married any time soon prior to meeting each other. We had only known each other for less than a year. Next spring we're having our first baby.

    You never knowwhat's the right age to get married until you meet the right one. And then life can really kick into high gear.

    But if you are not self dependent and not get a real one then hardest age is 29
