Hi, I was checking SEO of my competetor website. First they were at 10th page of google but write after 2 days they are on first page, content is same, i was checking threr links on yahoo site explorer .. there links are also same, that means ON page and off page is same then what makes it so much better that in one night it got ranked well in google in 2 days? Blog commenting or forum profile or anchoring text will provide link and it must get indexed in site explorer by yahoo.. So what make it changed like hell?? keywords are profumeria and profumi, website is : odomodo.it and search engine is google.it Please answere me this , I hope many things about SEO will get clear by this of many people
yes Clearing the cache memory will clear all doubt and there is no way anyone can rank from 10th to 1st place overnight with same inbound link.
I don't believe that. It can't happen maybe you really didn't clear your history and cookies. Its not so easy to achieve top rankings in Google. You need to work hard for that..
It can be a Google Dance too. Sometimes the mighty Google checks under-performing websites by placing in first page. Google checks for clicks made on that and consider these results in serving better SERPs for users.
Well... I clear my cache and cookies and everything.. I even use proxy server to check the real ranking for that but its still the same, I was trying to figure it out inbounds links are same just one thing is changed, and previous SEO cant make such a big effect as outbound links are still same, as well as on page optimization. But what if person increase little content on the website or article submission?? and google ranking is for italy, ( google.it) I would like to know if someone got idea about it.. This is really big strange for me , and google dance wont last for 4 days..
Well, it can be Google Dance as said earlier. Google gives high priority to last update content for any keyword till it is not universal keyword and is searched massively. The same thing might have occurred in this case too. Check if the content is new. If content is old than 2 months or so than another case might be just high authorization and perfect content for the keyword.
There is nothing strange about the site ranking. Nothing happens overnight this is because he had have been building the links from lot before and which achieved its position now. Also which and how many Google considers we can't tell by searching at Yahoo.
sometimes, this problem arises due to the data centers. Might be possible when you searched the competitor, google showed you results from a data center where the updated results were not there. it happens many times, and this is known as google dance.
Well.. just one line is new and it do contain keyword , Does position of content of the website also matter for SEO of website???
